Error Reporting

To improve the app's stability and user experience, we use Sentry for automated error reporting. When the app encounters an error or crash, technical information is automatically sent to Sentry.

Data Storage

All error reports are processed and stored on Sentry servers located in the European Union (EU). The data is used solely for debugging and improving app stability.

The mobile app does not collect any other data. We do not track your usage, location, contacts, or any personal information. The app works entirely offline after installation.

Website: Word Voting

When you vote for words on our website (like or dislike), we store the vote together with a SHA-256 hash of your IP address. The hash is used solely to weight repeated votes and prevent abuse of the ratings; we do not store your raw IP address, and we do not use the hash to identify you. Votes are not linked to any account or profile. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping word ratings fair (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Website: Live Activity Notifications

The website keeps a real-time connection (WebSocket) to our server to show small notifications about voting activity, such as “Someone just liked the word ‘apple’”. When you vote for a word that has passed moderation, an anonymous event containing only the word and the vote type (like/dislike) may be shown to other visitors — it includes no name, identifier, or any other information about you, and it cannot be traced back to you. Your IP address is processed transiently to maintain the connection, as with any web request. This feature uses no cookies and stores no data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Transparency note: to keep the site lively while our community is small, some of these notifications are simulated — they are generated automatically from popular words in our ratings and do not correspond to actions of real visitors at that moment.
